The coronavirus disease that takes hold of the whole world (COVID‐19) causes closure of schools; beside that, face to face education has been interrupted. Personal computing and communications devices have become important tools for learning and information transfer, and are thought as welcome additions to the learning environment. Efforts to counter these items have in turn led to the popularization of radical concepts such as the flipped classroom. The flipped classroom is centred on the idea that to attain success in education, the learning environment must be rearranged according to students’ needs. Since teachers and students are the crucial parts of educational settings, investigating teachers and their students’ readiness for this model is beneficial for providing knowledge to officers. It is aimed to investigate the flipped classroom readiness of teachers and students. As a result of analyses, the flipped classroom readiness of teachers and students is positive in general. It is concluded that the teachers and students who have computer and those who perceive themselves competent using technological devices have more positive opinions on flipped classroom.
